August Friendly Visitor Volunteer Training

Friendly Visitor Volunteers are matched with homebound, isolated, and lonely older adults living in Montgomery County. Volunteers visit clients once a week to exchange stories, play board games, read, watch the news, or discuss current events and build a friendship. Volunteer and client matches are made based on geographic proximity, as well as shared interests or backgrounds.
Volunteers must be 21 years or older.
